About the Author:

Louise P. Bolliger was born in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1960. She met John Robert Bolliger at a dance in Tampa and they started dating. In 1961 the new couple married, and John (Bob) was transferred to the USAF base in Limestone, Maine where John served as a gunner on the B-52 for two years. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force reserve, the couple left Maine and many friends behind and traveled across the county to John’s hometown of Pocatello, Idaho, where they made their home. Both John and Louise worked in the freight industry for a number of years, before Louise helped her husband expand on his hobby of building hunting rifles out of his home. Soon they had sufficient clientele to form Mountain Riflery, Inc. and John began a full-time career utilizing his talent and passion for high-powered hunting rifles. Together they have created some incredible rifles for hunters on an international basis. The couple has been blessed to have the opportunity through John’s business to travel all over the world. They both love hunting, fishing, camping and hiking and have made trips to Africa, Germany, Canada, Northwest Territory, Yukon, Alaska, Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico and several states within the United States. These travels fueled Louise’s passion for adventure and story telling, although “Libby’s Prom” is her first published book. Louise is involved in church volunteer activities, golfing, photography, and modeling, although her number one priority is spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and her husband continue to live in Pocatello, Idaho, in a household filled with fun, music, games, and lots and lots of food and gifts. They thank the Great Lord for all their blessings now and for the ones that are yet to come.
