About the Book

We're sorry; this specific copy is no longer available. Here are our closest matches for The Library of Oratory Ancient and Modern Vol. VI by Depew, Chauncey M..

Beautiful copy! Half leather with marbled paper. Matching marbled endpapers. Tightly bound, no cracking to hinges. Pristine inside and out. Bright gilt to top edge and crisp gilt at spine. Only fault is a couple small chips to top and bottom edges from sliding in and out and bookshelf, but hardly noticeably due to pattern of paper. Includes addresses by Victor Cousin, Thaddeus Stevens, George Mifflin Dallas, Lord John Russell, Samuel Houston, Edward Everett, Thomas Corwin, William Cullen Bryant, Thomas Arnold, Joshua Reed Giddings, Frederick William IV, Thomas Carlyle, Horace Mann, Thiers, John Bell, John Adams Dix, Marquis d' Azeglio, Alfred Iverson, Rufus Choate, Early of Derby, Thomas Babington Macaulay, Benjamin F. Wade, Caleb Cushing, John Brown, Daniel S. Dickinson. George Bancroft, John Henry Newman. William Henry Seward and Lacordaire. Bookseller Inventory #
