With xi and 511 numbered pages, and with five photogravures including the frontispiece, with pristine tissue guards, plus numerous additional B&W or sepia-tone illustrations. Very gently read. An exceptionally clean copy, inside and out. A Very Good copy. An association copy with the handsome leather bookplate of Willis Vickery to the front pastedown and with off-setting from same to the opposite FEP. Judge Vickery was a noted bibliophile of his day.
