Introduction by Irene Lagorio. 23 pages of biography including b&w pictures from his extensive career working as a designer in film and theater, with everyone from Disney Studios to Gene Roddenberry (he designed and built the original phaser and tricorder for Star Trek, amongst many other props) and made costume masks for notables such as Yul Bryner and Elizabeth Taylor. 60 pages of color photos of his sculpture work. 87 pages total. Wah Ming Chang was a Chinese-American designer, sculptor, and artist. With the encouragement of his adopted father, James Blanding Sloan, he began exhibiting his prints and watercolors at the age of seven to highly favorable reviews. Signed by Author(s).
