About this Item

Small 4to. Stiff blue pictorial wrappers. 57pp, (7pp). Frontispiece, numerous illustrations. Very good. Salesman's subscription copy of this popular biography of the just-deceased Democratic presidential candidate, secretary of state and Scopes Trial participant. Five lined subscription pages, never filled in, follow the text, which consists of excerpts from a number of chapters. Tikpped to the blank inside rear wrapper are examples of the book's spine in the two binding materials available, a blue leatherette and a burgundy cloth, both nicely lettered in gilt. Tight and attractive. Laid in is a 4to pictorial promotional sheet for the book. Most unusual. Bookseller Inventory # 33757
