HB book in G condition. Color illustrations by James Montgomery Flagg. Tan cloth boards are printed in blue and black; front board features a silhouette portrait of Patrick Henry. Bumps to corners, head and foot of spine, but no holes or worn-through spots. Shelfwear and minor soiling is present, consistent with age. Spine is very slightly cocked, but binding is tight. Previous owner's signature in ink on front endpaper. Interior pages are foxed and yellowed but have no rips, tears or markings. Book falls open naturally between pages 222 and 223, where a single illustrated page is loose. Interesting historical fiction based on the life of American statesman Patrick Henry.
