New York - London: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1928. This is a Fine copy of a Later Printing of the First Edition (stated "30th Imprssion"]. Blue decorative cloth binding with the titling and an image of his airplane, the "Spirit of St Louis" in gilt. Clean text; 318 pages. The decorative endpapers also bear the image of his plane. The Foreward is by Myron T. Herrick, the American ambassador to France. Illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs. Contemporary (1928) gift inscription on the second free endpaper. The dustjacket is Very Good; complete, with a faded spine; wear around the margins with some creasing and minor chipping. In an archival plastic protector. Later Printing. Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.

We accept checks and money orders in US Dollars. Credit card orders are accepted through ABE. California residents must add appropriate sales tax (currently 7.25%). Items are returnable for any reason within ten days of receipt (please email or call first before returning item).

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. Due to the recent turmoil in postal rates (particularly for International orders)shipping costs may need to be assessed on an individual basis. It is our policy to ship at the exact cost. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may need to contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Our more valuable books will be sent with insurance.
