8vo (24.5 cm), CXXXVII, 1030 pp. Publisher's cloth, gilt-lettered spine (ex-library copy with usual stamps and marks, binding somewhat rubbed, endpapers slightly stained, hinges weak but firm). The first two volumes of the list of atlases in the Library of Congress were published in 1909. An attempt was made to provide as comprehensive a description as possible, with some atlases listing all maps and some only maps related to America. The present third volume, published in 1914, contains descriptions of items 3266-4087.
