A fascinating WWI collectible or geneaology asset, this is a list of American Expeditionary soldiers missing in action during World War One. Listed in alphabetical order, it shows name, rank, city, state, division, and the date range where they went missing. Included are two errata sheets, one a printed insert listing additional soldiers reported as prisoners of war who no release information could be obtained for. The second is a hand-typed two page list, with the heading 'The following list of Officers and Soldiers have been reported to this office as missing in action since the original list has been compiled and should be made for these in conjunction with the printed list.' Seems to be an original CRO internal errata list. Covers are soiled, and an initial is written on the cover, the same initial is at thest top of one errat sheet. Staples have pulled free of back cover and show some rusting. Interior text block is straight and firm, and free of markings, but is lightly age toned. Size: 12mo - 6 3/4 in - 7 3/4 in. Year: 1919.
