Copyright 1947 with no later printing noted. A clean, tight hardcover copy bound in quarter orange cloth over printed paper covered boards. Nice even topstain to the upper page ends. The book's interior and text are clean and unmarked with no signs of previous ownership. The dust jacket price remains unclipped (250/250) and the jacket presents well under fresh archival mylar, with some mild staining to the spine and a short closed tear to the rear panel. A very clean, tight copy in attractive jacket. Illustrated by Douglas W. Gorsline in both color and black and white for the Illustrated Junior Library. 372pp. Seller Inventory # 007754
