Clean green cloth boards with elaborate gold thistle decoration on cover and spine. Very small spot of wear at one base corner, Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean and bright, with gilt top page edges. Two title pages, one for Thomas Y. Crowell in red and black and one for Street & Smith.
