Book is exquisitely clean and beautiful. lBound in navy blue textured cloth with a spine of the same fabric only in tan. Top edge is gilded and bright and shiny. There's also a red ribbon bookmark bound in. Pages are pistine and there are no names or writing. Book is nestled in its handsome slipcase which measures 4-3/4" x 7 -1/4. Book has 904 pages, including pictures at back of book featuring some of the poets. This is no run of the mill poetry book -- it's comprised of translations from the great poets of other languages spanning 2600 B.C. to 1950 A.D and all here in ENGLISH.
