Book Description Square Rigger Company, Boston, 1933. Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Stated repeal edition, one of 1000 signed (on the inside front cover), and numbered, this being #311. Illustrated orange paper covered boards in orange printed jacket (illustrated on the reverse). Unpaginated. 10 yarns, with the stories beginning at the rear with a preface and ending at the front with the ¼ page yarn 10. Despite this arrangement the text reads front to back. A collection of anecdotes of seafaring, maritime, harbor and shipping adventures, perhaps originally published in the Boston Herald. With reference to the repeal of prohibition on the front cover. GOOD condition. Jacket faded, with several ring stains. Heavy faded to the spine. Minor wrinkling, creasing and soiling. Jacket extremities worn. Book faded. Extremities scuffed. Pencil scribble to the rear cover, with some scattered pencil scribbles to the pages in the interior. Lower corner missing from the first page. Signed by Author. Seller Inventory # 010189
