Publisher's cloth bindings, gilt title lettering, embossed cover decorations. This sub-set is complete unto itself through the reign of George the Third, c. 1830. Set is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Set is not new or in "new" condition. Bindings gently age worn, signs of handling but nothing offensive or severe, edge scuffing and light rubbing to cloth, each remains overall attractive as an object. Paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Still attractive on the shelf. Set displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail showing how this item survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books and ephemera of all types.
