Synopsis: When Flying Squad officer Robbie McLaughlan shoots and kills a robber during a bank raid, his private and professional life fall apart. About the Author: J. Wallis Martin - publishers: Hodder & Stoughton, Heyne (Germany), Belfond (France) is the author of two literary novellas, four crime novels, and a volume of poetry. Her novels have been adapted for the screen.

Two new novels are scheduled for publication in 2014. These are '6 Vermilion Crescent', and 'A Job with Accommodation', details can be found on her website. A volume of dark short stories 'Under the House' is scheduled for publication later in the year.
