Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Inscribed on front endpaper by preowner. Rare in the dustjacket ! Includes for example the following chapters: 'A Miracle of the Dandenongs', The Lore of the Lyrebird, A Bird Unique and Menura's Intelligence. The lyrebird is a member of the genus (Menura) exclusive to Australia. They are beautiful, shy, intelligent birds and little was know regarding their habits when this book was first published in 1933. Sprache: english.
