Title: Lot of seven lobby cards from the film Song ...
Publisher: Universal Pictures Company Inc., Los Angeles
Publication Date: 1946
Each of these color printed cards measures 11" x 14". All are in near fine or better condition. The cards are beautifully color printed. The film is a musical, directed by Walter Reisch. It tells the story of an imaginary episode in the life of the Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (played by Jean-Pierre Aumont), in 1865, when he was a young naval officer on shore leave in Morocco. It also features Yvonne De Carlo as a Spanish dancer named Cara de Talavera, Eve Arden as her mother, and Brian Donlevy as the ship's captain. Charles Kullman, a tenor with the Metropolitan Opera, plays the ship's doctor, Klin, who sings two of Rimsky-Korsakov's melodies. Also included are two posters for the film, a one-sheet poster, and a half sheet poster. The one-sheet poster has some wear; the other is in nice condition. Bookseller Inventory # 24385
