Synopsis: In this delightful story, the author sends Lucretia Ann again into the hearts of thousands who loved her formerly. Lucretia Ann, her kitty, Benjamin, and her chum, Dimmis Greensleave, have finally reached their land o'dreams, the Golden West, after their adventurous trip across the Oregon Trail. With a background no less authentic than in the book which preceded this in the series, it is equally as exciting to learn how the Golden West became a home to Lucretia Ann and her family, as well as a land o'dreams.
About the Author: Ruth Gipson Plowhead was born in Horace Greeley’s famous Greeley, Colorado colony. Her grandfather helped choose the site for the colony. The Gipson family came to Caldwell, Idaho in 1895 and established The Caxton Printers, Ltd. During her career Ruth wrote nine books, including the Lucretia Ann and Josie and Joe series.
