Fine condition 1st Edition/1st Printing inscribed and SIGNED " 23 March 1981 To J.D. Barnum--Best Wishes, Donald Johanson" on the second free endpage. A review of the book from the Wall Street Journal was laid in and has lightly stained the front pastedown and first free endpage, otherwise the book is completely clean and unmarked inside. The book's exterior is immaculate except for a single very slight scratch on the front cover. No bumped corners or rub wear. Dust jacket is not price-clipped. There is very slight soiling in a few spots on the back panel only--the rest is clean with very slight shelf wear. It has no chips or tears.
