no date but presumed circa 1961. Illustrated gray cloth in price clipped jacket. 355 pages. With tipped in color plates, as well as a section of black and white plates in the rear. An in depth look at the work an life of Lyonel Feininger, including his studies in Hamburg, Berling and Paris, his involvement with the Blue Rider group, the Bauhaus in Dessau and his years in America. POOR jacket on a GOOD+ book. A five inch slit present down the upper front jacket, with diagonal creasing present along its length. Some minor tearing and chipping to the head of the spine, with a few other minor tears along the upper rear panel. Minor edgewear. Minor soiling and general darkening to the jacket. Minor scuffing. Minor fading and edgewear to the book. Light soiling to the endpapers of the book, with some toning to the pages throughout. Seller Inventory # 004327
