With some illustrations, mostly of apparatus and props. Binding is red cloth with pictorial on front. A decent book with sound hinges. Spine is sunned and cocked (with vertical crease), top & bottom are rubbed just to board. Cover is color rubbed in spots overall, with some streaking; bottom 2 corners are bumped. Original magic store label has been laid down over the publisher name on title page. Free endpapers are quite toned, with small split that has been repaired on rear pastedown endpaper (some red dye from cover has leached onto here as well). Better than it sounds!.
