Hardcover, 7 1/2 x 11", 62 pages of text, in German language only, and 64 plates in b&w lithographic prints, 4 tipped in plates (2 of them in color), one of the tipped in plates has a small tear. Austrian painter who besides portraits, landscapes and stillifes created mural for the Salzburg Festival in the Salzburger Festspielhaus. Faistauer died in 1930 at age 43. The book is clean and tight, in very good condition, the orange dustjacket with a scene from a Salzburg mural is worn along top edge. Great monograph on Austrian artist Anton Faistauer.
