About this Item

The maps of the county of Essex was the achievement of John Chapman and Peter Andre of London ,between 1772 and 1774, it is an outstanding contribution to geography . Oblong 4to. 28 pages . page [9/10] corner creased. Original cream card covers ,title on front ,some spotting on front and rear.Title page has previous owners signature , and also some marks looks like offsetting same marks on last plate " see photographs".The accuracy of the map is extraordinary !
