Vol. 1- 390 pages. Vol. 2- 495 pages. Vol. 3- 443 pages. Each volume with frontis illustration with tissue. 5 3/4 x 9 in. Red quarter morocco binding with marbled boards, gilt lettering on spine, 5 raised bands, end papers marbled, top edge of text block gilt. Condition of each volume is VERY GOOD+ : light wear to spines and covers, spines darkened, edge of text block foxed, some light foxing to text near edges- all title pages and frontis illustration with some light foxing, bindings very tight, book plate of David B. Ogden on inside of front cover. Vol. 2- a few spots of heavy wear to rear cover. Vol. 3- slightly heavier wear to top spine end corners.
