HERRING, PAUL
Published by Philadelphia Lippincott 1932 (1932)
Used Hardcover First Edition Quantity: 1
Seller:
James Pepper Rare Books, Inc., ABAA
(Santa Barbara, CA, U.S.A.)

Book Description First Edition. Very good bright copy with some minor edge wear in a lightly used and dust soiled dust jacket with a few shallow chips and internal tape repairs and a long tear at the rear spine fold. The murder of a famous young actress named Margot Midnight sets this tale in motion, as mystery after mystery unfolds throughout. The front panel of the dust jacket is a striking graphic illustration of a theater at night where a crowd is gathered out front and an arrow points to a side street where the body was found.
