About this Item

A memoir by one of the founders of the famed Neiman-Marcus retail store. Nice copy, the book is a first edition, very tightly bound, an indication of little reading, no names or markings except on the the first page following the black front free endpaper where the author has inscribed it:"To Mary Jane Courtney--with best wishes, Stanley Marcus, 9-20-74, Ft. Worth." The DJ is bright and shiny in a mylar sleeve but has a few small dings, one on the lower front where it was accidently folded back leaving a wrinkle and small signs of wear at the corners and spine ends. Predominantly black background is still very dark and clean, not price clipped. Bookseller Inventory # 002864
