Faded blue pencil mark on front pastedown; ownership inscription on front free endpaper; small dark ink stain at fore-edge of title page; a few pencil marks and notes amongst the text; top corner of pages 163-164 chipped. Some looseness to binding evident between frontispiece and title page but no splitting or cracking. Laid-in is an undated but probably contemporary pamphlet titled "Tips on Shooting."
