Juste was renowned Flemist scholar and philologist who lived from 1547 to 1606. 4 different titles bound in 2 matching volumes. 4to., (6), 213pp. (6); 103pp. (4), (8), half vellum with colorful marbled boards appears to be 17th century binding). Decorated Capitals, nice engraving on title page of first Volume, tail vignettes. Printer's device on titlepage in one volume is a woodcut, in the other it appears to be some sort of engraving. Fine example of printing from the Plantine Moretus press of Antwerp which operated from 1555-1875. Two volumes are in excellent condition, binding secure, light spotting, light wear.
