From Wikipedia: Sarah Bernhardt (22/23 October 1844 26 March 1923) was a French stage and early film actress. She was referred to as "the most famous actress the world has ever known". Bernhardt made her fame on the stages of France in the 1870s, at the beginning of the Belle Epoque period, and was soon in demand in Europe and the Americas. She had a reputation as a serious actress, earning the nickname "The Divine Sarah". Cornelia Otis Skinner (May 30, 1899 July 9, 1979) was an American author and actress. Skinner was the daughter of the actor Otis Skinner and his wife, Maud Durbin. She appeared in several plays before embarking on a tour of the United States from 1926 to 1929 in a one-woman performance of short character sketches she herself wrote." Good in fair dust jacket.
