Beautiful condition with an inscription from Richard Hatch, the authoritative translator of the original book, "Zauberkünste", German to English, to Roger Crosthwaite. Crosthwaite was inspired at age 7 by Fabian and a noted magician himself. He contributed many tricks to The Gen (1964-1965) and made a name for himself as a card technician. Contains an introduction, the original information from the German edition, new illustrations, annotations and an appendix with letters from Dr. Hofzinser to students. Describes more than 80 effects created by Hofzinser. Includes over 100 photos and illustrations often used in Hofzinser's studio.
