Unpaginated [24 p.]. This is a story for young children, told in text and pictures, with drawings substituting for many nouns (boy, girl, dog, umbrella, tail, bird, hill, house, train, etc.). Tan cloth hardcover has title and drawing in brown; it is slightly soiled with no dust jacket. However the interior is fine and is signed by the author of the text with an inscription: "To Patty With lots of good wishes from Marjorie Barrows." Additionally, enclosed is a very cute Marjorie Barrows post card with a picture of three little bears in a cart being pulled by a big bear and saying, "Bearing you a Merry Etc. from Marjorie Barrows," and addressed to Miss Patricia Grover, care of Dr. Jerry G. Grover, 523 Cumnor Road, Kenilworth, Illinois, 2¢ stamp, "Mail Early for Christmas" post office stamp and Chicago, Ill., Dec. 22, 1928, postmark. Card is fine.
