About the Book

We're sorry; this specific copy is no longer available. Here are our closest matches for The Mainz Diary 1437-1440.

Description:

Issued November 1940. 250 copies were bound in boards for the friends of the editor, and, supposedly, the balance of the sheets bound in with the text of the Christmas issue of Print. This copy may be anomalous in that it is clearly not a hardback and also not a part of Print magazine. It stands on its own as a large pamphlet. Set by hand in Weiss Antiqua and Original Oldstyle Italic by Arthur and Edna Rushmore. The paper is ash Arak by the Haddon Craftsmen, Camden NJ.This is a sewn pamphlet of xiv and 11 numbered pages, some of which are handsomely deckled. With three full-page illus. Approx. 10 x 6.75 inches. Cinnamon brown plain paper wrappers, exceptionally clean, with tiny semi-creased dog ears at the top corner, quite minor. Immensely clean interior. A Very Good Plus copy.
