About the Author: Marilyn Karmason has been studying, collecting, writing, and lecturing about majolica for two decades. A founding member of the Majolica International Society, Karmason, a psychiatrist, has written articles for Antiques, House & Garden, Connoisseur, and other publications. Joan B. Stacke contributed valuable research and supervised most of the photography for the book. Both authors live in New York City.
