About this Item

The Makarim al-Akhlaq, is a panegyric biography, was incomplete at Nava i s sudden death in 1501 and was dedicated to the Timurid King, Sultan Husain Mirza. It contains sections on its subject s life, literary and charitable works, noble qualities etc. Written in the florid style favoured by Khvandmir, it contains much interesting information on the social life of the period.
