The interior is clean except for neat previous owner's name on half-title and decorative bookplate on front pastedown. The text is clean and unmarked. NOT ex-library. Complete with 51 woodcut engravings (including 8 striking full-page plates) and 10 maps (including 2 folding & colored); the folding Route Map at the beginning of the Preface has been torn along the edge at the binding (the tear does not effect the map area) and is now just laid in.
