About this Item

HC/DJ, price unclipped. Stated first edition. Inscription "For Dennis, Who helpd me see. Love, George 8/20/85" on half title page. George Stambolian died in 1991. Not authenticated believed accurate. 167 pages.Photograph section. "In 1980, George Stambolian published the first of these interviews- with a Masochist- in Christopher Street magazine, causing a storm of controversy both within the S-M subculture and within the gay community at large. Since that exciting debut, five other interviews have been published- with an Entrepreneur, with a Fetishist, with a Father, with a Self-Made Man, and with a Handsome Man. As each interview came out, it probed so deeply, so intensely, so unapologetically into the varied lives and thoughts of American gay men to see what made them the fascinating individuals they are." Store Description

Member of ABAA and SIBA. We are a small bookstore created by our own love of reading and appreciation of books. Our bookstore offerings include numerous signed editions, collection and out of print books. While we don't claim to be experts we are discerning book lovers and collectors and we describe our offerings as accurately as possible. We always encourage questions if there is any question at all regarding a book. The books we sell are used unless otherwise noted. We will rarely list a book as more than very good in an effort to be more than conservative in rating.
