About the Author:

Maimunah Aminuddin is a professor in the Faculty of Business Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) and has been teaching industrial relations, employment law and human resource management for more than three decades. Maimunah Aminuddin is a fellow member of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) and is a former council member as well as former editor of the Institute's newsletter. She frequently conducts seminars and training programmes, both public and in-house, on aspect of industrial relations, employment law, disciplinary systems, performance management and training for trainers. She has also been involved in a number of consultancy projects for various private sector companies.
