Pages crisp, bright, and clean, with no owners' marks; square, tight binding; hard cover is one-quarter brightly illustrated white paper, the balance in a textured brown paper; the white portion shows small specks and handling smudges as well as toning at the spine, a small brown stain near the spine head, and light scuffing at spine ends, and the brown shows only gentle rubbing at the corners, otherwise well-kept and attractive.
