Only buy from dealers who describe their books fully and avoid undisclosed surprises.1883 printed on title page. Text block is tight and square. Immaculate Coverboards are in Very Good condition with wear at the spine ends.Spine is slightly cocked. Cilt cover design and spine titles are bright as new and show no sings of fading. PO signature in copper plate handwriting on ear;y blank page, otherwise the book is completely unmarked.Tissue is intact over frontispiece. 44 additional tinted plates representing various mythologies. Endpapers and pages are immaculate,crips and bright although they do show light age toning. Binding is good.
