Soc.- our copy has no other printing indicated) has the same binding as this, with colored leather onlays in a gilt star on the front board, reflecting the same symbols in the frontispiece - the back board with the same star in blind; dull brick-red finely-pebbled cloth, gilt cover titles, all edges gilt; worn, rubbed, soiled, front hinge a bit sprung and still good, spine ends of cloth chipped, first few leaves including title with some old discoloration and staining, still good; binding approximately 4" x 6 1/4"; (with) the 1871 "By-Laws of the Evergreen Chapter." 12 pages; printed in Danbury at the News Job Printing Establishment; small pamphlet in the original printed lavender paper wraps, approx. 3" x 5" size and with the information needed to conduct the business of the order in the town; bit of wear and wrinkling to wraps, faint old handwritten note of "Unionville Ct." at top; good condition overall; two interesting American women's Masonic items.
