10 x 10 1/2 inch map on paper. Multiple fold lines, some chipping. Legend title : "South America. The Coast of Brazil Being Corrected by Mr. John Adams. Anno 1772". Detailed map of South America, "Plate III To face the Title Vol. 1" printed above map and "Thomas Bowen Sculp." printed below. Appears to have been removed from a 3rd edition or later of "A Voyage to South America ." by Don George Juan and Don Antonio de Ulloa, translated by John Adams (Esq. of Waltham Abbey), who also corrected this map as he had resided in South America for several years.
