William Gilson Farlow (1844-1919) was a noted American botanist who studied under Anton de Bary in Germany. From the library of William H. "Cap" Weston (1890-1978), a prominent botanist, mycologist, and Harvard University professor (1921-1956). Weston's personalized bookplate stamp on front endpaper, along with "Weston" in ink at top of page; also a pocket with handmade card (showing never borrowed) on inside front board, and a bookmark laid in with some jottings by Weston.
