About this Item

Hardcover in dust jacket. No statement of edition. SIGNED and dated, with a lengthy inscription, by the mystery writer Joe Gores, here tacklingl the history of marine salvage hunters. Dated Sept.1994, the frank and informative inscription reads, "To Tim, Good Lord, my hair was still black back then! This is a fun book because all it is, is about a jillion true adventure stories. Terrible index, done by the publisher. The publisher's photos were also lousy, so I literally scanned the world for 4 frantic weeks to get the ones that are in here. Have fun. Love, Joe." Book appears as new, but spine is split at hinge from top to bottom. Binding is still solid, and pages and unclipped dust jacket are clean and fresh, with just a touch of rubbing to jacket corners. 525 pp. including the "terrible index." Photo illustrations. In protective Mylar. Heavy--will require additional postage if shipped out of the U.S. Bookseller Inventory # 78593
