Crean colored paper covered boards lettered and decorated in gilt. Boldly inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper: "To Mrs ___ ____/ with best compliments of the author/ Jean Leeman/ New York. Oct 1918". xii+ 80 pp. Translated from the French by Alice Chittenden and with a preface by M. Henry La Fontaine, Senator of Belgium. A tight example but with waer and rubbing ro the tips and rear gutter, shallow loss to foot of spine.
