First edition with matching dates of 1852 on title and copyright pages. 24mo )3" x 4 1/2") in blindstamped dark olive green cloth with front cover stamped in gilt with Masonic device and spine lettered and decorated in gilt. All edges gilt. 128 pp. "Embellished with upwards of 200 Engravings, illustrating the Emlems and Symbols of The Order". An exceptionally tight, fine, bright example, round original sticker for "W.H. Drew/ Masonic and Odd fellows Furninshing Store" on the "Corner of Washington and Exchange Streets, Buffalo, N.Y." affixed to the front pastedown. Small spot and a couple narrow light stains to the inner side of the title page. An exemplary copy of a very scarce, original edition of this cornerstone masonic work. Bookseller Inventory # E14599
