Synopsis: Years ago, while I was praying, I surprised myself by saying, Lord, give me words . It seemed to come
from the depths of my heart. I had no idea what I was going to do with those words once I got them;
but He knew. He answered my prayer and gave me words. . . words in the form of poetry.

About the Author:
"Norma Ching, the youngest of nine children, was influenced by a father who was principal of the
elementary school she and her siblings attended in the tiny town of Honokohau, Kona, Hawaii. She also became an educator, teaching for 25 years in Hawaii. In 1956, she married Wilfred Ching, now deceased, and is the mother of four children, Mike, Lisa, Patrick and Colette.
The author suffered a major stroke in 1997 and survived brain surgery one year later. She is completely healed today and credits God's healing power for her full recovery.
Throughout the years she has received poems from the Holy Spirit, writing each in a single sitting and saving them. The words just flowed --- from His heart to hers. The author states, Years ago, while I was praying, I surprised myself by saying, 'Lord, give me Words.' It seemed to come from the depths of my heart. I had no idea what I was going to do with the words once I got them, but He knew. He answered my prayer and gave me Words...Words in the form of poetry"
The illustrator, Patrick Ching, is a world-renowned wildlife and nature artist. Paintings were selected from his major works to complement his mother s poems."
