Lose leaf catalog on heavy stock covered by light brown lose wrapper with dark brown linen lever, housed in original light brown box portfolio with gilt lettering on cover. Beautifully produced catalog of sculptures in stone, marble, and ivory by five 18th century and one renaissance artist. Eight works are introduced and reproduced in eight b/w and sixteen photographs in color. The title page for each work contains a 4" x 3" b/w photograph with additional information on medium, size, provenance, and literature relating to the artist. The b/w photographic reproductions and one in color capture full views of each artwork with additional images showing details of respective work. Represented in this catalog are Ignaz Bendl, stone relief, Ignazio Collino, two terra-cotta, modeled fully in the round, Johann Baptist Hagenauer, alabaster, Giuliano Giamberti, called Giuliano da Sangallo, wood, carved fully in round, original polychrome, Antonio Giuseppe Sartori, marble, sculpted fully in round, and Francesco Tanadei, two reliefs; carvings in ivory on ebony; frame mahogany. The portfolio also contains a CD at rear holding images of the artwork in this collection. Text in German. Box portfolio rubbed with two inch pencil mark and few small smudges on back cover.
