Alexander is a member in good standing of the Yerba Buena Lodge No. 15 of the Odd Fellows in San Francisco, California. Mr. Alexander is entitles to weekly benefits of $10 gold coin per week and funeral benefits. This certificate is dated May 19, 1870, and signed by C. W. Taber and E. P. Botchelor. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows is a charitable fraternal organization, originally founded in Great Britain.
