The motion by Mr. Anderson (verso of t.-p.), 18 November 1808, states that 200 copies of the memorials of merchants of Boston, Salem, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, New Haven, and Newburyport, which were presented to the Senate during the first session of the ninth Congress, and here are printed in their entirety for the use of the Senate. With a large folding table, "A list of losses sustained by the merchants of Newburyport and vicinity, by depredations of the belligerent powers of Europe." The table includes the names of the vessel, master, and owner, by whom captured or detained, and the value of the property. 8vo. 138 pp.; fold. table. Shaw & Shoemaker 16457. Removed from a nonce volume; stitching holes present in gutter margin; last three leaves separated. Some later leaves foxed. Bookseller Inventory # 11495
