BINDING: Hardbound in blue cloth wit gold lettering on the spine, 227 pages DUST JACKET: Jacket is priced 6.95 on the front flap. there is a half inch blind tear at the bottom right front corner and some light edge wear at the spine ends otherwise the jacket is good plus. BOOK CONDITION: Light bump to the bottom spine end otherwise the covers are very good, clean and the lettering is bright. the binding is tight and the interior is very clean. DESCRIPTION: Author Marvin R. Marston. Intro. by Senator ernest Gruening and an epilogue by major General C. F. Necrason. Photo illustrated story of Major "Muktuk" Marston who during WWII, when military leaders were discussing the surrender of Alaska, was uniting the Eskimos into a tundra army, as a front line defense against a Japanese attack.
